CamBio gains more support with the addition of new organisations

The CEI CamBio continues to gather support, following its concurrence to Convocatoria del Subprograma de Excelencia del Ministerio de Educación, in late October 2011.

Among new members of the coalition, the following scientific institutions and organisations must be highlighted:

  • Asociación Española para la Enseñanza de las Ciencias de la Tierra (http://www.aepect.org): This non-profit organisation, open to all persons interested in the teaching of Earth Sciences, is aimed at defending the presence and contribution of Earth Sciences in public education, favouring the exchange of research and teaching experiences, promoting scientific and pedagogic updates for teachers, establishing contacts with similar organisations in other countries and cooperating with Third World countries, among others.
  • Buró4 Arquitectura y Urbanismo (http://www.buro4.es): Comprehensive strategies and solutions. Our team is fully aware of our technical responsibilities and of our impact on the cultural heritage of cities and the landscape. Our areas are: architecture and urbanism, integral project management, training, consultancy and external services. One of our main aims is the training of teams and cooperation with companies in the same field. It is our belief that this is the most efficient way to tackle complex projects and to offer comprehensive services to our customers.
  • Geodea Consultores (http://www.geodeaconsultores.com/): This company specialises in environmental consultancy. The firm’s activity is focused on both the private sector and public organisations. The company’s aim is to offer services and to develop high quality projects, with special regard to reliability, commitment, responsibility and professionalism. The company’s key commitment is to sustainable development, providing economic development with respect for environment compatible targets.
  • Marwen Ingeniería (http://www.marweningenieria.com/): Private company of advanced engineering aimed at offering comprehensive solutions for the development of environmental and energy-efficiency related projects in the construction and industrial sectors. The company adheres to high environmental standards and accountable, committed and high quality service criteria. The company’s aim is to make a difference with a multidisciplinary, first rate team capable of undertaking projects comprehensively, from the legal and bureaucratic angles to the purely technical sides, for which the most advanced technologies are used.
  • QSTAR (http://www.qstar.es): This young and dynamic company enjoys a solid position in the maritime sector, and offers support services to the oceanographic community and marine and sub-aquatic technology firms. The company’s infrastructure provides marine and oceanographic research and sub-aquatic geophysics for the national and international markets.
