This research and learning centre was created by the Association Club Mohamed Ali de la Culture Ouvirere in July 1999. It is an independent institution working with other public and private bodies.

It focuses on the analysis of professional accidents, risk factors and working conditions, helping health and safety committees to develop preventive policies against accidents in the work place and to improve working conditions.
