University created in 1989, the mission of which is to respond to the needs posed by its socio-economic environment, develop the region’s human resources, promote university life through sports and cultural activities, and ensure long term development. Since its creation, the number of lectures and students and the quality of its teaching have increased significantly. It is currently undergoing a process of growth and restructuration.
