The first edition of the course ‘European Urban Policies: Foundations and Tools’ ended on September 9, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the course was online. Twenty-nine participants have learned about European strategies to promote urban development, the European smart specialization strategy, and tools to analyze and evaluate integral urban policies. They have analyzed projects launched in the framework of EDRF during the 2014-2020 programming period as their final practicum. The course has received a good evaluation (9,36 points out of 10), especially as regards to the quality of teaching staff and the course usefulness for professional development.
