Eminently practical and innovative in its methodology, the Universidad Pablo de Olavide Masters Degree in Finance and Banking (MFB) is taught by professionals of acknowledged prestige and has become a benchmark postgraduate qualification in financial management.
The MFB at UPO was the first official postgraduate qualification in Andalusia to receive “MiFID II accreditation” from the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV – Spain’s National Securities Market Commission). It is therefore the first official postgraduate qualification in Andalusia with graduates who can accredit their capacity to deal with all aspects of Financial Consultancy.
Finance is a field in a state of constant flux in which specialisation and the continuous refreshment of knowledge are essential. Due to innovation and globalisation in financial markets, rapid technological advances – exemplified by Fintech, the implementation of the Basel Agreements and the entry into force of Directive 2014/65/EU on markets in financial instruments (MiFID II), highly qualified professionals capable of meeting companies’ management and decision-making needs are in increasing demand.
With this in mind, the UPO MFB is designed to help postgraduate students acquire advanced knowledge and skills in the fields of financial and banking management and financial and asset-management consultancy, thereby adding a competitive edge to their professional profiles.
