Center for Research in Social and Environmental Accounting (CICSMA)

The "Center for Research in Social and Environmental Accounting" (CICSMA) has its origin in the network of researchers that emerged as a result of the "I Research Meeting in Environmental Accounting” (1st CSEAR Spain Conference) held in Mairena del Aljarafe (Seville) in 1997. Since 2003, the CICSMA has been officially considered a Research Center by the Pablo de Olavide University.

The Center is an institution whose basic objective is to facilitate research in social and environmental accounting and to serve as a point of connection between academics and professionals in the Spanish language. For this, it tries to offer the best available information, in the practical and theoretical field, on the subject in order to facilitate research on these issues and promote communication and exchange between the University and the company in the field of social accounting. and environmental.

Laboratory of Business and Experimental Economy (LEXBE)

The LEXBE aims to become a center that allows researchers to empirically study and contrast different causal relationships that can occur in organizations and in the economy. As an example, it will allow the experimental analysis of business decision making under uncertainty, incentives and behavior in organizations, learning models, trust and control, altruistic and selfish behaviors, or how they affect decision making. emotions, stress or personality of individuals.

The laboratory is located on the ground floor of Building 44 and has two rooms, one computerized with 24 workstations and the other for monitoring the tests and control of the subjects, being the first permanent experimental laboratory of these characteristics in Andalusia, and the first focused on Business Administration and Management in Spain.
