Marta holds a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada, and a MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a MA in English Teaching for Secondary Education from Pablo de Olavide University. Her passion for languages and interculturality has shaped her professional and academic career. She has worked and studied abroad in Ireland (Dublin City University), Germany (Universität Leipzig and Phillips-Universität Marburg), and the United States (Wheaton College, Massachusetts). She has experience in International Education and she teaches Translation Studies at Pablo de Olavide University and at its International Center. She is pursuing her phD on the acquisition of translation competence abroad.
