Carmen Maíz Arévalo

Carmen Maíz-Arévalo obtained her PhD in Linguistics in 2001. In 2006, she joined the department of English Studies, where she became associate professor in 2018. Her research focuses on Pragmatics, Intercultural Pragmatics and Digital Communication. Since January 2020, she has been the Head of the Complutense Centre of Foreign Languages.
