The research group “Intercultural Pragmatic Studies (English-Spanish): Pragmatic and Discourse Issues” is pleased to announce the upcoming Eleventh International Symposium on Intercultural, Cognitive and Social Pragmatics (EPICS XI, after the Spanish acronym for “Encuentros de Pragmática Intercultural, Cognitiva y Social”). EPICS XI will be held on May 22nd-24th 2024, at the Faculty of Humanities of Pablo de Olavide University, Seville (Spain).
The conference theme will be “Pragmatics and discourse analysis: Synergies to understand interpersonal communication”. The following scholars have agreed to be EPICS XI keynote speakers:
