Professor Igor Pérez Tostado and Professor Bethany Aram participate in the International Colloquium "Violencia y negociación en la formación de los imperios ibéricos, siglo XVI"

The international colloquium "Violencia y negociación en la formación de los imperios ibéricos, siglo XVI" ("Violence and negotiation in the formation of the Iberian empires, 16th century"), coordinated by professors Gibran Bautista y Lugo, Valentina Favarò and Guillaume Gaudin, will begin on August 11, 2021. The colloquium, which will be held from August 11 to 13, can be followed live on the Youtube channel UNAM-Históricas.

Professor Pérez Tostado (UPO) will present a paper entitled “El impulso genocida de la conquista: de Canarias a Tenochtitlan” on 11th August, at 11:30 a.m. (Mexican time) and professor Aram (UPO) will present a paper entitled “Alimentación, alianzas y la fundación de Panamá, 1519-1525" on 13th August, at 11:00 a.m. (Mexican time).
