Professor Manuel Pérez García presents the book “Global History with Chinese Characteristics” at the Consulate General of Mexico in Shanghai

Last Friday, May 27, 2021, Dr. Manuel Pérez García, current Tenured Associate Professor of the Department of History at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Principal Investigator of the GECEM project and member of the PAI-HUM 1000 research group, presented his book "Global History with Chinese Characteristics: Autocratic States along the Silk Road in the Decline of the Spanish and Qing Empires 1680-1796" at the Consulate General of Mexico in Shanghai.
