The PAIDI research group Historia de la Globalización (History of Globalization) (HUM 1000) was born in the spring of 2017, as a result of the interest of a group or Early Modern historians of Universidad Pablo de Olavide in the processes of violence, negotiation and interculturality shaping the Early Modern world and the globalization process.

The objective of the group is to provide room for diverse projects (regional, national, and European-wide), to generate synergies among them, among the researchers belonging to the group, and among the activities that they carry out. This group also aims to promote permanent links with other researchers, groups, or institutions interested in Early Modern History from a global perspective.
