The PAIDI research group Interglosia: Procesos de Comunicación Intercultural (Intercultural Communication Processes) (HUM 996) was initiated by a group of lecturers and researchers from the Department of Languages and Translation at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. A multilingual, multicultural group, it encompasses a wide variety of language combinations (Spanish, German, Arabic, French, Modern Greek, English, Italian, Polish and Russian) and several individual lines of research (audiovisual translation, localization, business interpreting, conference interpreting, legal and sworn translation, translator training, transcreation, professional translation processes, literary translation, etc.
