Description:
The main objective of this project was to describe and analyse interlinguistic and intercultural communication needs in Seville Refugee Reception Centre and in the principal entities responsible for receiving asylum seekers and refugees in the city of Seville.
Results:
Analysis of translation and interpreting in the context of asylum and refugee protection in the city of Seville. Translation of CAR (Refugee Reception Centre) documentation and creation of informative audio tracks in five languages (English, French, Arabic, Russian and Chinese). Hosting of the Congreso Internacional de Comunicación Interlingüística e Intercultural en Contextos de Asilo y Refugio (CIICAR 2018 – International Congress on Interlinguistic and Intercultural Communication in Asylum and Refugee Protection Scenarios), Universidad Pablo de Olavide, 10-11 October 2018.
