Jelena Borljin

Jelena Borljin graduated in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literatures at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, Serbia (2012) where she also obtained a Master degree in Teaching Foreign Language and Literature. In addition, she has a Master degree in International Communication, Translation and Interpreting, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, where she continued her education attending PhD studies under the supervision of Dr. Marián Morón Martín and Dr. Nieves Jiménez Cara. Her main fields of research are intercultural translation and audiovisual translation. She also dedicates her scientific work to digital teaching. During her studies, she attended various courses on translation and Hispanic culture at University of Malaga and Instituto Cervantes of Belgrade. In 2018 she obtained the DELE examiners accreditation for levels A1 and A2 and the title of Sworn Translator of the Spanish language (Ministry of Justice, Republic of Serbia). She is an official translator and interpreter of the Spanish language at the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Serbia. Currently, she works as a teaching assistant in the Department of Italian and Ibero-American Studies in the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.
