Pablo Domínguez

Pablo Domínguez (Seville, 1992) is PhD student in research project CIUPARCRI. He studies the congruence and divergence between political elite and citizenship in the descriptive dimension (how they are) and substantive (what they think and do) of political representation, for the Spanish case and a European comparative study. Pablo is also a member of the working team of the national research project PROTEiCA, which explores the connection between the experience of protest and the way citizens perceive and get involved in politics.

He is a double degree in Sociology and Political Science and Administration at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, where he received the award for best academic record. Also he holds the official title of Master in Models and Areas of Research in Social Sciences by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He was a Senior Support Technician in this research group for one year.

He has skills in research design, planning and support for fieldwork activities and analysis of qualitative and quantitative computer-assisted results. He also has knowledge about European research funding programs (Challenges H2020, Marie Curies, ERC, COST Actions, etc). Other topics on which he has studied or published are related to the evaluation of public policies and political communication
