Andrea Andújar Llosa

Doctorate in Environment and Society from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, and a degree in Sociology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she also completed a Master in Sociology: Population, Society and Territory.

She is specialized in urban and housing sociology, and has participated in several research projects related, on the one hand, with the diagnosis and orientation for public intervention in housing; and with the analysis of the relationship between socio-demographic and residential processes in the urban dynamics of metropolitan environments, on the other. She was the beneficiary of a pre-doctoral FPI (Research Staff Training) grant from MINECO, in the framework of which she spent two short stays in research centers, one international (at the ISCTE-IUL center in Lisbon) and the other national (at the Centre d'Estudis Demogràfics -CED of the Autonomous University of Barcelona).

She has taught mainly in the Departments of Sociology at the University of Seville and Pablo de Olavide University, but also in the Department of Geography, History and Philosophy at Pablo de Olavide University. She has eight scientific publications in various formats, in addition to the publication of an article in a scientific journal already accepted, and another that has been submitted to an international journal JCR; and fifteen contributions to conferences, seminars and other scientific dissemination activities. In addition, she has been a member of the scientific and organizing committees of a national congress and coordinator of one of the scientific sessions developed in the same; as well as moderator of a working session in an international seminar. For more than a year she has been a member of the Urban Sociology Working Group of the Spanish Federation of Sociology.
