Abstract: ¿How the impact of urban policies could be analyzed?. First, the presentation shows the main traits of this kind of public policy, as well as main elements to develop a methodological design according to these traits. Second, these elements are used to analyze the impact of urban regeneration projects in Spanish cities. Main results show some basic dilemmas regarding the design and implementation of urban regeneration projects in different kind of urban contexts
