2024-05-17

Cuadernos de RES PUBLICA in Law and Criminology is a biannual publication of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, which disseminates original academic articles focusing on different social phenomena that affect criminal and criminological sciences.

The aim of the special monograph directed by the researchers Antonia Martí Aras and Ana Isabel Agustí López, entitled ‘Youth at a crossroads. School violence, sexual violence and mental health’, is to call on the scientific community, especially researchers in public law and criminology, as well as researchers in education and psychology, to propose and bring together academic texts that address, from different approaches, the advances, challenges and different perspectives on the emotional and psychological development of adolescents and all the contexts in which they may interact, such as the school, the family, the community context and the peer group.

This special monograph is particularly interested in the study of violent behaviour that occurs in the infant-juvenile stage, in their interaction with the community, their peer group, their partners, families and teachers, trying to find the existing relationships between the different types of violence and to highlight elements that allow us to develop effective prevention and intervention programmes both for adolescents and for schools, the community and families, through the observation of the following topics;
