Abstract

In this paper we evaluate the relationship between the production of gallic and northern hispanic samian ware. We present some characteristics which show us that this relation is, in addiction of commercial, deeper. We present the hypothesis that the hispanic samian ware production is made by emigrant hands from Gallia. We benefit this occasion to make a new map with the distribution of hispanic samian ware in Gallia.
