Determinantes de éxito en sistemas de gestión del conocimiento: propiedades psicométricas preliminares de cuatro instrumentos de medida ((Success determinants in KMS: preliminary psychometric properties of four measurement instruments)

Resumen

El objetivo de este artículo es evaluar las propiedades psicométricas preliminares de cuatro instrumentos relacionados con las medidas de “Determinantes de Éxito en Sistemas de Gestión del Conocimiento (SGC) en Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES)”. La muestra fue de N=150 participantes, conformada por académicos, administrativos e investigadores de IES latinoamericanas. Se estimó la composición factorial utilizando extracción de mínimos cuadrados ordinales no ponderados con rotación oblimin directa y estimación de confiabilidad. Se encontró que los instrumentos poseen una estructura congruente con la teoría (α>0,90), concluyéndose acerca de su usabilidad y aplicabilidad para levantar datos referentes a los determinantes de éxito en SGC en IES. Como resultado se obtuvo cuatro instrumentos válidos y confiables, cuyos componentes representan los constructos planteados y poseen alta consistencia interna.

English abstract

The aim of this article is to evaluate the preliminary psychometric properties of four instruments related to the measures of "Determinants of Success in Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) in Institutions of Higher Education (HEI´s)”. The sample was N = 150 participants, made up of academics, administrators, and researchers from Latin American HEIs. The factorial composition was estimated using unweighted ordinal least squares extraction with direct oblimin rotation and reliability estimation. It was found that the instruments have a structure consistent with the theory (α> 0,90), concluding about their usability and applicability to collect data regarding the determinants of success in KMS in HEI´s. As a result, four valid and reliable instruments were obtained, whose components represent the proposed constructs and have high internal consistency.
