Abstract

The development of different urban interventions linked to a cultural economy has changed deeply socio-territorial structure of big cities. Despite from a phisical point of view in different cities these policies could show notable similarities, however the specific analysis of social and spatial consequences presents varied final results. Our article revises the recent evolution of Buenos Aires, a city increasingly quartered, where the main urban investments haven’t as aim the serious social crisis the people is living.
