La energía en Navarra, 1984–2006. Una mirada desde la sostenibilidad.

This paper attempts to analyze the generation and use of energy in Navarra between 1984 and 2006 from the standpoint of sustainability. Start by drawing a panoramic on the period of evolution in the generation and end use of energy in Navarra, and the global primary energy use by its renewability and its CO2 emissions. Then, applying a factor decomposition method, we analyze the factors underlying these developments to conclude that the large increase in energy use in Navarre outpacing advances in the use of renewable energy.
