La incertidumbre estructural en el problema de la sostenibilidad. Una panorámica.

Resumen

Al incorporar el aspecto humano (junto con el económico y medio ambiental), a un sistema que pretende ser sostenible, éste se convierte en un sistema complejo, reflexivo y emergente. La propiedad de la reflexividad supone la existencia de una incertidumbre que no puede reducirse de ningún modo, pero que es necesario gestionar si se pretende la sostenibilidad del sistema. Este trabajo presenta una panorámica de este problema de gestión, y sugiere los requerimientos epistemológicos para construir una metodología Ecointegradora para la Gestión de la Incertidumbre Estructural (EGIE). El cumplimiento de tales requerimientos supone la integración de elementos del enfoque ecointegrador de Naredo (2003), la evaluación social multicriterial (Munda, 2004), Enfoque Pluralista (Van Asselt, 2000) y la biología del conocimiento (Maturana y Varela, 1987).
