Abstract

This paper analyzes fonts arrived in the Canary Islands during the middle decades of the eighteenth century can be linked in various ways with the workers open in Cadiz along this time, especially with the artist Salvador Alcaraz y Valdes. The reading offer their relationship with market measures of time and the involvement of principals or intermediaries as the main subject of the trade, all without neglecting other matters of the context.
