About the Journal

Bajo Guadalquivir and Mundos Atlánticos aims to generate a discussion framework for researchers to analyze, from a multidisciplinary perspective. The journal aims to promote the interpretation and historical research of the Lower Guadalquivir area and the process of cultural transmission between Western Andalusia and the Atlantic territories from the perspective of disciplines as diverse as they are complementary (History, Archaeology, Prehistory, Literature, Art, etc.). In this way, local specificity can be framed within a universe of connectivities and comparisons that give rise to a broad framework of common culture in which the same element or process can manifest itself in very different ways but without losing its original essence. In addition, it aims to be a clear commitment to the promotion of historiographical sciences and archival studies through a continuous and effective publication of new research, which together with its innovative work system based on OJS, places it at the forefront of journals of this profile.

We propose Bajo Guadalquivir and Mundos Atlánticos as an open and plural academic space that allows researchers from different backgrounds and disciplines to establish a fruitful exchange of the latest scientific advances from multiple disciplines.
