This issue of the journal entitled ‘Sex-gender diversity and queer pedagogies: towards a counter-hegemonic education’ focuses on both qualitative and quantitative research, experiences of good practice, didactic proposals on education at different stages: university, secondary, primary, infant, non-formal education. It aims to reflect, through different articles, the counter-hegemonic proposals that challenge us to transform education and the school institution from a queer perspective, in which there is the possibility of a democratic educational community that takes the risk of listening to itself and deconstructing itself in order to begin to draw more diverse imaginaries with respect to sexualities.
