This essay tells the origin of the Brussells Tribunal (April 2004), constituted with the aim to criticize the Northamerican imperialist policy, particularly the decision to start the war against Irak. Houtart underlines the relevance of the Project for the New American Century, a group based on the idea that United States has to act as a leader answering the dangers befores it may produce. The author precises the main conclusions of the Brussells Tribunal, all of them in relation with the consequences of the new Pax americana.
