LA AGONÍA DE LOS SEDIENTOS: BASES SOCIO-POLÍTICAS DE LOS CONFLICTOS HÍDRICOS EN SAHARA OCCIDENTAL
Abstract
El desierto del Sahara es una de las reservas de agua más grandes del mundo; en el Sahara occidental, el agua escasea. En este estudio se presentan los problemas que acarrean la nula política hídrica que sufren los saharauis desde la implantación del neocolonialismo marroquí. Vistos desde el decurso histórico, se buscan los condicionantes geopolíticos y económicos que permiten que se reproduzca la lógica colonial dentro de los territorios legítimos de la R.A.S.D. y la expoliación de sus recursos. Se piensa que el presente trabajo aporta un ejemplo sobre la excesiva explotación de los acuíferos por parte de la corona marroquí y los capitales internacionales españoles, norteamericanos pero sobre todo, franceses; con la complicidad de sus respectivos gobiernos. Para ejemplificar se expone la situación de vulnerabilidad hídrica que está sufriendo actualmente Dajla (Villa Cisneros) y su relación con las granjas privadas del Rey y los capitales franceses.Downloads
