Resumen

E’ noto come l’architettura antica fosse progettata in stretta relazione con il contesto ambientale di inserimento (clima, venti), e come gli elementi naturali (vegetazione, acqua) fossero sapientemente integrati nella progettazione per innescare effetti benefici per l’ambiente costruito e, di conseguenza, per il benessere dei fruitori. Così è definita una progettazione bioclimatica. Nella letteratura tecnologico-specialistica che affronta il tema è assente Villa Adriana, un esempio formidabile di integrazione tra tecniche e arti. L’articolo analizza il rapporto architettura-ambiente della Villa imperiale tiburtina, approfondendo le principali soluzioni progettuali che vedono una eccezionale integrazione tra soluzioni tecniche, formali e la predisposizione di effetti scenografici.
