IV Workshop on SMEs, Entrepreneurship and Family Business

In almost all developed and developing countries, economic growth rests largely on the work of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The characteristics of these companies -in terms of size, resources, ownership structure, etc.- make their management different from those applied to larger firms in almost all their areas, finance, organization, marketing, corporate governance, etc. Many of these companies are family businesses. Over the last decades, scholars have paid special attention to both, SMEs and family businesses. For this reason, and following the success of previous workshops held at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Madrid, Spain, 2009, 2013) and Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain, 2011), the Department of Management and Marketing and the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Seville, Spain invite you to participate in the IV Workshop on SMEs, Entrepreneurship and Family Business .

The main aim of the Workshop is to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas for researchers focused on SMEs and Family firms. We encourage scholars to present high quality research papers, with the potential to be published in high prestige international journals. The Workshop will focus on different fields within SMEs and family firms, including:
