El ideal de belleza “anti-Heidi” de Annemarie Schwarzenbach: Transgresiones de género y de estética en Freunde um Bernhard

Para las escritoras suizas de la primera mitad del siglo XX, el personaje de Heidi creado por Johanna Spyri en 1880 seguía siendo el referente primordial. Por lo menos para la mayoría de ellas, como recomendaban los críticos literarios de la época. Sin embargo, hubo una escritora que no se atenía a esta recomendación sino que transgredió en múltiples aspectos los moldes establecidos por la tradición de la literatura alemana escrita en Suiza: Annemarie Schwarzenbach. El aspecto transgresor en el que me detengo en este estudio es el de la belleza; estableciendo continuidades y discontinuidades entre el personaje clásico Heidi y el personaje Bernhard o Berchen, creado por Schwarzenbach en su novela Freunde um Bernhard (1931). Hasta ahora esta novela se había interpretado como experimento de identidades de género cambiantes. A esta interpretación le sumo la de una estética que se construye a través de las miradas de los personajes.
