Abstract

The little church of San Isidoro (or San Isidro), in Ávila, was removed from its original location in this city to the present one at Retiro Garden in Madrid several times throughout XIXth century. This article tries to know better its attempted reconstruction in the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, through new documents.
