Abstract

The multiple disciplines that have being describing the investigation about industrial heritage, have granted to the History of art a perspective in the study of this  anifestations, where the particular aesthetic and the relation of such work with their territory, offer an all-round vision of a landscape whose cosest bonds with their heritage turn this type of analysis in true “constitutions” of their collective memory. The territory we approached, the Guadiato high valley, concentrates some of its identities in the rest of this industrtial history, esencialmente miner, where the metallic drilling rigs participate in different typological, aesthetic and technological characterzations, which are as well integrated in a network of manifestations that, at global level, grant sense to the territory.
