Novedades de funcionamiento de Sociología del Deporte (SD)

Sociology of Sport (SD) begins a renewal phase with the aim of making it a more dynamic and expeditious publication.

It will continue with its two numbers a year. The novelty lies in the fact that, following the trend of other national and European electronic journals, the numbers will be prepared as the articles are accepted by the Evaluation Council.

A volume/issue called “En prensa/In press” already appears on the platform of the magazine. This is the one that will be published as soon as the month determined for its two usual volumes arrives (in this case, the next one will be in June 2023). In this, the accepted studies will be included, with final layout and DOI (provided that the author or author agrees).

With this change, the studies can be disseminated without waiting a few months, as sometimes happens. On the one hand, analyzes that may be of interest are made available to the scientific community and legal operators, because they are current. On the other hand, it prevents some, when published, from being out of date due to reforms.
