Abstract

This article collects the results and analysis of the research project called "Study on sports habits in Andalusia", carried out between 2021 and 2022 by the University of Córdoba, within the framework of a contract contracted through its Transfer Office of Research Results (OTRI) with the Andalusian Studies Center Public Foundation (CENTRA), attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Junta de Andalucía (Exp. 335/21). The survey carried out has been administered to the Andalusian population, among a sample of 2,400 individuals and the administration of the same was carried out through CATI to mobile and fixed telephones (50% in both cases). The questionnaire has consulted 59 questions on information, habits, behaviors, attitudes, opinions, assessments, on various aspects of the sporting phenomenon among the Andalusian population. With this study, we try to contribute to a better knowledge of the reality of sports habits, lifestyles and values ​​around sports, among the Andalusian population, which is also of public utility for the design of policies in the field of sports. sports promotion, planning and evaluation, within the framework of the powers attributed by the Andalusian administration in this matter.
