VICISITUDES DE LA MIRADA. EL OJO DEL ALMA Y EL OJO DEL CUERPO EN LA REPÚBLICA DE PLATÓN
Abstract
En la alegoría platónica de la caverna, el sol y el fuego designan dos niveles ontológicos diversos y, a la vez, dos regímenes de luminosidad: la luz del sol, campo de visibilidad de lo inteligible; la luz del fuego, campo de visibilidad de lo sensible. En este artículo nos proponemos analizar esta tensión entre dos luces y dos miradas, la del ojo del alma y la del ojo del cuerpo, tal como las presenta Platón en los libros VI y VII de República en el marco de su teoría de la educación.Downloads
