Abstract

The risk posed by human activities of modern man on the planet is real and serious. In reaction to this new reality, green political movements advocating a change in mentality. Approaches are based essentially ethical and non-technical, because the root of the problem is moral. On a political level, they argue that we must restore the dignity of nature as a subject of rights, and propose to move from the traditional «Social Pact» to a new «Natural Covenant» to the planet by downloading a special responsibility to defend these values on scientists. Finally, maintain a sustainable economy that accepts the natural limits of growth, humane and environmental solidarity with poor countries and a table of appropriate environmental sanctions do not forget the promotion.
